Configuring DHCP using Cisco iOS - DHCP Server & DHCP Helper
I dont know if youll be stll replying to comments on this seven year old video but anyway, whats the difference between the management vlan (vlan 30) and the native vlan (vlan 50). why not just have trunk ports use the management vlan?
You're going way to fast
Hello - Great video and packet tracer lab - The only small comment I can make is that you need to slow down when making the videos for those that are learning - have a look at Jeremy IT when he teaches - Thanks
What advantage is there using a trunk port, vs just setting up the port to be a member of all the allowed vlans?
I hope you're still active..... can you make a vid about 1 DHCP server connected to a switch and the switch has 2 routers connecting to it? please, I'm dying to know and learn about this one (if this is possible), because I tried doing it but only one router gets the IP from the DCHP server, the other one was assigned by the APIPA. Thank you in advance!!!
Hi Keith, I notice you are not running GNS3 here inside a VM (direct install within Linux ?) Is this how you are able to assign 192.168.x.x addresses to your endhosts without conflicting with any your real network addresses outside of GNS3 and how you are able to "sniff" traffic, from the outside of GNS3, using Wireshark ?
Thank you for this video. I have a packet tracer question. How did you get the gui of the telephone to be so large. Mine are small even if I click zoom. I'm thinking it's because of my screen resolution, but thought I'd ask.
Fu@king idiot try and talk slow
xqc tutorial
Can you not talk so fast
Thank you
It seems the ephone-dn ? command isn’t availiable to me. So i’m not able to put in a number Packet tracer version 8.2.1.0118
You need to set static route for the SOHO router. The ISP router cannot be seen.
I try this and it’s saying dhcp failed
Did you configure the router interface ip?
If this playlist was a dish gorden ramsey would eat it all 😂
My router doesn't have the telephony services lol. damn - i built my entire network already and realized the only router that has the telephony service cmd is the 2811 lol. i guess i'll leave this out for my project.
this is still great ! building my own network that emulates a school district and wanted to get a VOIP phone up and running.
I know it's an old video but I got a question, how do you made two ip phone within two subnet communicate? Because I'm getting unknown number. My phone is only working in their respective subnet.
thank you so much man. You saved my life
There is no "telephony-service" in the newer versions of "packet-tracer". For this reason, this may not work for some people.
Thank You so much, your channel and your explanation is really amazing! Please keep your channel updated!
This is incredible information for me. I am desperately trying to scrape together the IOS knowledge as well as the fundamentals at the same time. This is very easily digestible with the walkthrough and structure of the information. Thank you for this!
helped alot thanks
Hey i want to configure voip but i have 2 router and each router is connected to 2 switch is it possible?
Just to give some perspective on how slow; a show run sits there for about a minute or more....
Thank you very much for this video. After wasting several hours on trying to find answers, you saved the rest of the day for me. I have one problem though; my switch is extremely slow; I am sure that I am missing some setting... Thanks again.
A WAN does not have to be layer 3. There are Ethernet links that go huge distances.
Great job sir. Thank you very much for your time and sharing the knowledge.
very gud explanation
Thank you for the amazing tutorial can you please confirm if i can use the same configurations for IP telephone in ISR4331 router.
what if "switchport voice vlan <n>" command is not available on the switch? should i configure a trunk for each port where a phone+pc are connected?
I did the exact same steps and it didn't work. No IPs or numbers to the IP phones wer assigned. When I tried to cpnfigure a button mappings, I got a message saying "you need to assign MAC-address for the ephone"
All done but one error is type 7960 then button 1:1 it response me need to configure the ephone mac address or VM station id
coding in Router CLI im facing problem in button 1:1,1:2,1:3 command it says need to configure ephone mac address or VM station-id
i have the same issue
Whether this lab will come on the CCNA certification exam?
please speak faster, I can still understand some words.
Talk too fast. Hard to follow.
This makes everything look pretty simple and easy to understand
Thank you bro, you are a life saver. 🤗❤
Where can I get this program you're using? It looks like software you one uses to model different setups.
switchport native vlan 40 returns an error in the 3rd example
Is it possible to use pc as server and configure DNS?
I followed your tutorial but why is the phone still red and not green?😥😥😥😥😥
There are quite a few mistakes in this video. I think overall it is a good quality, but some of the configuration steps yield errors that aren't explained.
Hello, Thanks for your vidéo The New Version of packet Tracer Don't accepts This configuration, beacause the ip-phone have vlan1 by default, and it's not possible to change the number VLAN1 on ip-phone do you know if it's possible to change the number Vlan on the ip-phone in new packet Tracer? Best regards
Thanks
Thanks for posting this video!
Thank you very much for this tutorial
Most arrogant, aggressive, pretentious, uptight loser I have ever witnessed in my entire life.
why bro
why when i send a message from switch 1 to switch 2(vice versa) end users it always failing
